There are moments that change your life without you realising it at the time. For me, that moment was when I became a mother.

Back then there was no Bee Factor. There was no business plan, no lab, no skincare company. There was only the everyday life of a new mother, our home, the beehives Christos and I kept, and little Angeliki.

I still remember the pure beeswax Christos brought me so I could try making simple beeswax ointments at home with natural ingredients. I never imagined that something so big was beginning right there.

A few months after Angeliki was born, she developed a severe skin problem in the nappy area. On medical advice, we started using a pharmaceutical cream. The problem would ease for a while, but every time we stopped using it, her delicate skin became badly irritated again. And that is when a need was born that changed everything. I began to study herbs, natural ingredients and their properties more deeply. I tested, created and tested again. Not as a businesswoman. As a mother. That is how the first Bee Factor baby beeswax ointment was created. And when I saw my child’s skin recover, I knew this was not just a product.

 It was the beginning of a philosophy. A philosophy that still guides every product we create today. At Bee Factor we don’t make products just to “launch” them on the market. We make products that we ourselves use every day. Products I would give my children without a second thought. Products my mother will use. Products built on quality, on the natural power of active ingredients and on substance.

Over the years, Bee Factor has grown. From our home, we became a Greek company with its own research and development lab, international partnerships and a presence at major trade shows abroad.

But the foundation remains the same.

Care doesn’t start with marketing.
It starts with what you choose to use on the people you love most.

And perhaps, in the end, that is the real story behind Bee Factor.
