Milk Thistle Seed Oil is obtained by cold pressing of the seeds of Silybum Marianum and is known for its healing properties on the skin.
It usually consists of unsaturated fatty acids such as omega-6 linoleic acid and omega-9 oleic acid. It also contains a significant amount of phytosterols and vitamin E (a-tocopherol), which are responsible for restoring moisture levels in the skin. Therefore, it deeply moisturizes and nourishes dehydrated skin.
Milk Thistle Seed Oil is known for its extremely antioxidant properties while slowing down the aging process, rejuvenating damaged skin, and restoring skin tissue.
In addition, it has a strong antimicrobial activity making it suitable for sensitive – irritated skin, inflammatory disorders, and skin diseases (such as psoriasis, dermatitis, and acne).
