Sea buckthorn oil is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the tree. It is found throughout Europe and Asia and is known for its antioxidant benefits.
It consists mainly of unsaturated fatty acids such as Oleic Acid (Omega 9), Linolenic Acid (Omega 3) and Linoleic Acid (Omega 6). Rich in vitamins (C & E), sea buckthorn oil provides anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and astringent properties to the skin and scalp.
In addition it is extremely antioxidant and effectively binds free radicals. Therefore it enhances the regeneration of skin tissues by activating the production of collagen and elastin. Gives shine to the hair, soothes various skin problems (such as minor burns, acne, wounds, etc.).
Recommended for use in anti-aging products, sensitive skin care, products for after sun exposure, hair care, etc.
